An "incident" has much of the same functionality and characteristics as a claim, but they are different. Dmitri's Incidents Module consolidates data on incidents separately from claims to offer you more flexibility and functionality. You can enter incidents directly into Dmitri, allowing you to handle them as an internally managed claim. If incidents need to be sent to an external organization, they can be reviewed and flagged before being sent. If an incident then becomes a claim, you can separate out the original intake values from the rest of the claim.
